Business Owners & Salons: You are responsible for keeping your business details, services, pricing, and staff availability accurate. When posting shifts, you must provide clear details about the work, timing, and rate.

Independent Professionals: By activating a Shifts profile, you represent that you are qualified to perform the selected services. You are responsible for arriving on time for claimed shifts.

Clients: You must provide correct contact information and arrive on time for your scheduled appointments.

4. Disclaimers

Miali is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

Miali is not responsible for disputes between business owners and clients.

Shifts Marketplace: Miali acts strictly as a matching platform. We are not an employer, recruiter, or agency. All shifts are performed as independent contracts between the Professional and the Salon.

Direct Settlement: Miali does not facilitate payments in the marketplace. Salons and Professionals must settle all payments directly (e.g., Cash, M-Pesa, Bank Transfer). Miali is not liable for unpaid shifts or payment disputes.

8. Shifts & Reliability

Miali Shifts operates on a First-Accept basis. Once a shift is claimed, the Professional is expected to fulfill it.

Cancellations: Frequent or last-minute cancellations will negatively impact your Reliability Score and may result in permanent suspension from the marketplace.

Feedback: Salons may provide feedback on shift performance. This feedback is used to maintain the quality and safety of the community.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on Miali — including software, design, and branding — belongs to Miali and is protected by law. You may not copy or redistribute it without written permission.

You retain ownership of your business content, such as your business name, logo, and service descriptions.
